IfG.Research offers a large number of master’s level seminars and lectures which draw upon the expertise which the institute has gained in the course of its research and consultation activities. The seminars and lectures fall within the general field of „Public Governance and Technology“. The main focus of these seminars and lectures are societal and organizational steering mechanisms and management, which within the IT context are fundamentally different from previous "manual" approaches. Public governance and technology is thus a cross-sectoral form of applied informatics, which places IT within the context of questions of institutional design and control.
IfG.Research’s teaching is strictly interdisciplinary, future-oriented and takes an entire societal perspective, in addition to an eGovernment view. In today’s world, questions related to cross-organization and cross-sectoral networks, steering mechanisms and development are highly relevant. Like in the IfG.Research’s research activities, its lectures and seminars pay particular attention to the link between organizational and information-technology questions.
Practically oriented courses are offered by IfG.Transfer.
